We met in high school the summer of our sophomore year through our groups of friends. Our "flirting" was very elementary school, we made fun of each other all the time until we both realized we actually liked each other. It started out as a joke that Mario had to give me a hug everyday after first period. I would wait or he would wait for me to come out of the classroom, give me a hug and we would walk down the hall together to the next class. We would write letters and notes to each other and after a few months Mario wrote a letter on April 7, 2008 asking me to be his girlfriend. We grew up together, we created a child and we experienced many highs and lows. Now after 13 years we are glad to share our special day with our friends and family who have stuck by us and watched us go from 16 to 30 together.
