We met in 2019 through my brother, Jaime. He and his best friend, JJ, were inseparable, and JJ was always around. We quickly became friends and often hung out as a group with my brother and his wife. In 2021, after months of group hangouts, JJ finally worked up the courage to ask me out on a date. I must admit, it took a few tries before I finally agreed! Our first date was at Stonewerks, and as the saying goes, the rest was history. From that moment on, we’ve been inseparable. In 2022, we were overjoyed to discover that we were expecting our first baby together. Gavin was born in September of that year, and we’ve been happily navigating the joys of parenthood as a family of four with Aaron and Gavin. Fast forward to 2024, during a family photoshoot, JJ surprised me with another milestone, a proposal! He had coordinated with the photographer to capture photographs of this special moment in our lives. In September of that year, we completed our family and welcomed our newest addition, our baby Luke! We can’t wait to get married and share this momentous occasion with our boys and our entire family. Why we chose to get married in New Orleans... In 2023, JJ and I embarked on our first trip together to New Orleans, where we fell head over heels in love with the city, its vibrant people, rich culture, and delicious cuisine. When we decided to forgo a traditional wedding, we were brainstorming ideas for our special day and it was a no-brainer to return to the city that captured our hearts!
