Our happily ever after began like many modern love stories – on Hinge. On August 19, 2023, Frankie sent me a simple message: “Hi,” followed shortly by, “You’re definitely the prettiest woman on here.” I chuckled because it was one of those lines I heard all the time, but I thought he was cute, so I decided to take a look at his profile. One thing that stood out to me was his answer about the green flags he looked for in a partner: good morals, self-care, loyalty, and a good vibe. As I read those words, I thought, those are qualities I value as well. I figured he deserved a chance, so I replied, “Hi, thanks :)” Little did we know that a simple “hi” would change our lives forever.
