We first crossed paths in middle school, two kids figuring out who they were, with no idea how much those early days would mean later. We shared hallways, classrooms, and a handful of memories, but as life does, it eventually carried us in different directions. For years, we lived our separate stories. College, careers, friendships, and new adventures filled the chapters, but every so often, a memory on Facebook of those middle school days would quietly resurface. Then, in our mid-20s, fate decided our story wasn’t finished. A message, a conversation, and suddenly it felt like no time had passed at all. What started as catching up quickly turned into late-night talks, effortless laughter, and the kind of connection that only feels possible when someone truly gets you. Looking back, we like to think life gave us the time we needed to grow before bringing us back together, so when we found each other again, it wasn’t just familiar, it was undeniable.
