Soooo...Covid...How is that impacting the wedding?

Answer

Please keep in mind as restrictions could change depending on numbers of cases, new strains, etc. We are fortunate enough that majority, if not all guests, will be fully vaccinated by the time of the wedding day. However, we still want to be mindful for those who are not vaccinated that are attending this event. With that, our guest list is 50 people, and we will be taking into consideration on seating "households" together when possible. Our ceremony is outside, and people will be seated distantly when possible, so masks are not required. However, we do ask that everyone bring one in case. Dancing is currently limited to the couple's first dance and parent dances. This may be subject to change if the venue opens restrictions. Dylan and I will be getting tested for Covid for free within several days before the wedding. If people are able to get tested before, that would be greatly appreciated.

Question

What do I do if I'm feeling sick (Covid symptoms) or have been exposed to someone with Covid?

Answer

If this is before the wedding, as much as it saddens us, we ask that you attend the ceremony virtually instead of in person. Though majority of guests will be vaccinated, we cannot risk other's health for those not vaccinated. Please update us so we can provide a link to our Zoom live streaming of the ceremony.

When do we get to bust a move? ;)

With us planning the wedding during COVID, we selected an event time that ran shorter, which doesn't allow us the time to dance with our guests sadly :( Luckily, we get to cherish our first dance, father-daughter dance, and mother-son dance!

Answer

We've been so fortunate to work with such a passionate bunch that have helped make our wedding day a reality. We cannot thank them enough! Mark from Premier Catering has been a massive help throughout this whole process! Here Comes the Bride helped myself and our Bridesmates find fabulous dresses for everyone! Our gorgeous beauty team, including Daniela, Kelly, and the additional stylists at Misano Salon have been so accommodating!

Is smoking permitted?

Answer

No smoking of any kind (cigarettes, e-vapes, etc) is allowed on the grounds. Guests are welcome to step away from the gated area to do so if they would like. Fines are involved by the venue if not followed.

Are pets allowed?

Answer

Cheney Mansion has a strict policy that no pets are allowed on the grounds or in the mansion. Please be mindful of that.

Can I Bring a Plus One?

Answer

Just a reminder, with our restricted number of guests being at the max of 50 people, only those listed on the wedding invite are invited to the wedding. Our other loved ones are more than welcome to enjoy our ceremony via a live stream on Zoom.
