We would like to be able to say that, when we initially met, it was love at first sight. The truth is, when Bianca first met Dom, she thought he was handsome, but cocky. When Dom first met Bianca, he thought she was cute, but kind of weird. It took several Game Nights hosted by our mutual friends for the sparks to fly between us. And, even then, it was competitive sparks! These sparks led to flirtation that turned to love.

We started dating on April 7th, 2018. Less than 3 months later, Dom gave Bianca a promise ring. Sitting on a cul-de-sac with all of Bianca’s family around them, Dom whispered that this promise ring was not just a promise ring to love, protect and stand by her, but it symbolized his promise that an engagement ring would replace it, as he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. Looks like Bianca turned out to be his kind of weird.

We moved to Nashville for graduate school and real jobs! (Dom to work for Wyndham and Bianca to teach 1st grade.) We went to a nice dinner with Dom’s parents, Tony and Lori. After dinner, we decided to show them our city. It was the perfect evening to walk Nashville's scenic pedestrian bridge and take in the city lights. After snapping a couple pictures of the view, Dom nervously got down on one knee and asked Bianca to be his wife. Looks like cocky won out as it was the easiest yes of all time.
