I met Demarius at the end of my 12th grade year back in 2011 in Miami Florida. It was a such a chaotic time for me…for the both of us! We were transitioning from being a teens to a young adults! It felt like hell but through it all we both had each other as that one person we could call on to make it all stop for just a moment in time! My peace was Demarius! We met at Miami Northwestern Senior High one day after I had basketball practice and the rest was history! He was the best friend that I fell in love with! Life took its turn and after I left for college we lost touch. We lived our lives and God somehow guided us back to each other! We rekindled at the end of 2019/beginning of 2020 and it was like picking back up where we left off! Endless memories of pure genuine happiness and much laughter, until our bladders almost burst!! But most importantly with God at the center of it all! 💙
