Our favorite beach! Within walking distance of the hotel room blocks. Includes a protected swimming area, great for laps and paddle boarding, plus nice running / walking trails.

Largest outdoor shopping mall in the world.
Honolulu Zoo
Voted 4th favorite zoo in America. Some of the monkeys are not even in cages!
Diamond Head Crater Trailhead
Very famous hike. On the easier end, but somewhat steep. Offers the best view of Waikiki.
Mānoa Falls Trail
Easy, short jungle hike that leads to a waterfall.
Wiliwilinui Ridge Trail
Easiest ridge hike but still very steep and challenging towards the end. Offers breathtaking views off both sides of the island. Also this is where David proposed.
Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve
Famous nature preserve beach and snorkeling spot. You will need to make a reservation in advance. Bring water shoes.
Makapu‘u Point Lighthouse Trail
Paved but steep. Amazing views of the east side of the island at the top, and on the drive there. On a clear day you can see other islands off the coast.
Koko Crater Botanical Garden
Plants from around the world, all growing and thriving in Koko Head Crater.
Lanikai Pillbox
Short but steep hike. Amazing views of the windward side of the island.
Arizona Memorial
Explore meaningful exhibits about the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. Take a boat ride out to the USS Arizona Memorial. You need to reserve tickets in advance. Very meaningful experience.

Lanikai Beach
Beautiful windward beach. Very soft sand.
The Mokes
Kayak to the Mokes (small islands off the coast of Kailua Beach). You can hike to the top once you arrive. It makes for a fun, adventurous day!
Hawaiian Electric Beach Park
Famous snorkeling spot. Warm water.
Waimea Bay
Long drive to Oahu's famous North Shore. Large beaches, food trucks, jumping rock, and where the famous Eddie Surf Competitions are held.
