It's actually quite funny how Brandon and I met. For background, Brandon and I actually lived a couple of blocks from each other growing up. We attended the same elementary school, middle school, and high school, but of course Brandon being three years older, we just missed each-other. For example, when Brandon was a senior at Victor J. Andrew High school, I was this new freshman. To be honest, thank god he didn't meet me then, I was bit loud and wild. I've relaxed as I've aged, but the loud part though, well you know I got that from my mama. Fast forward now to April 2020, Covid takes over the world, all businesses shut down, people are now adapting to working from home, and were both stuck in our own, one bedroom apartment and condo. Thank God for zoom and our mutual friend Michelle. I was having a wine night via zoom with my friend Michelle when I had mentioned that this guy Brandon was liking my facebook pictures recently. I kept telling her, "he went to the same schools as me, how do I not know him???" Finally after a few glasses of wine, Michelle took it upon herself, reached out to Brandon, give him my phone number, and the rest is history. Who knew when the world was becoming so dark, we would find the light within each-other. We honestly owe Michelle one of the biggest THANK YOUS! We cannot express enough how grateful we are for her friendship and match making skills!
