Question

What is the schedule?

We'll kick off with a welcome party on Friday, June 26th at Ristorante Il Giardinetto, followed by our wedding ceremony and reception at Villa Lario Resort in Mandello on Saturday, June 27th. See schedule page for more details.

Question

What is the wedding dress code?

Answer

Welcome Dinner Attire: Italian Summer Chic Semi-formal / cocktail attire inspired by a boat day and a romantic evening on the lake. Women: Cocktail dresses, flowing maxi dresses, elevated separates, or chic jumpsuits in light, airy fabrics such as silk, chiffon, or linen. Men: Lightweight suits, linen or cotton blazers, or tailored dress shirts paired with chinos or trousers. Jackets and ties are optional. Wedding Day Attire: Lake Como Formal (Black Tie Optional) We invite you to dress for an elegant, vibrant lakeside celebration. Women: Floor-length gowns in joyful, summer colors. We encourage bold hues and statement looks. Men: Tuxedos are welcome; an elegant suit with a tie or bow tie is equally appropriate.

Question

Where should I stay in Lake Como?

Answer

We recommend staying in Varenna, a charming lakeside town near our venue. We’ll be providing transportation to all wedding events from this location. If you choose to stay elsewhere, please note that you'll be responsible for your own transportation. For hotel recommendations and booking tips, check out our Travel & Accommodations page. We suggest booking early—June is a popular time to visit Lake Como!

Question

What's the closest airport to Lake Como?

Answer

The most convenient airports are Milan Malpensa (MXP) - about 1.5 hours drive, Milan Linate (LIN) - about 1 hour drive, or Bergamo (BGY) - about 1 hour drive. We strongly suggest booking flights early as summer travel to Italy fills up quickly. Car rental, private transfers, and train connections are all available from these airports.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Late June in Lake Como is typically warm and sunny, with temperatures ranging from the mid-70s to mid-80s. Evenings by the water can be slightly cooler, so we recommend bringing a light layer.

Question

What currency should I use?

Answer

Italy uses the Euro (€). Credit cards are widely accepted, but we recommend carrying some cash for smaller shops, taxis, or cafes.

Question

How many days should I stay?

Answer

We recommend staying at least 3–4 days to enjoy the area and wedding events. Many guests are turning this into a longer European trip!

Question

If I have any additional questions, how can I get in touch?

Answer

We're more than happy to help with any additional questions about celebrating with us in Lake Como! Please feel free to reach out to Bianca and Anthony directly for any inquiries or travel tips.
