BANGOR
If you're flying into Bangor, (BGR) you will want to rent a car and take I-395 towards Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park! It is recommended that you carpool, as mid-September is still "tourist season" and cars could be limited. Downeast Transportation also offers public bus service between Bangor (airport) and Bar Harbor on weekdays (Mon-Fri).
From the airport, you can get on I-395 leads to Rt 1A, which you will follow all the way to Mount Desert Island, home to Bar Harbor!
BAR HARBOR
If you're flying into Bar Harbor (BHB), you'll be able to take the Island Explorer shuttle right into town from the airport!
