Pedro’s first trip to Madrid

I was so happy to finally have someone to row the boat in the Parque de Retiro

Picnics have always been our favorite, whether they are in the Parque de Retiro or Central Park

With Covid locking us into the region of Madrid, we made sure to take advantage of some of the hiking in the surrounding mountains

Saying “goodbye” to Madrid was scary, especially not knowing when Pedro and I would be on the same continent again

Pedro came to the States on November 24, 2021 on a J-1 visa

NY was still experiencing the effects of Covid when Pedro arrived, so Times Square was totally empty

In summer 2022 we took the most amazing trip to the Açores with Pedro’s family

When we go to Lisbon, we always try to visit Cheers Pub in Barrio Alto where we met

We always enjoy the chance to be tourists in NYC too

We’ve celebrated weddings in the US, Portugal and Italy - here we are at Bianca’s cousin’s wedding in Italy

We celebrated Christmas 2022 in Portugal with family

In May 2023 we took an amazing trip to Morocco

After Morocco we were so happy to celebrate a friend’s marriage in Portugal

And in June we celebrate a friend’s marriage in Virginia

After 3 months apart, Pedro came back to the States on an H1-B visa in September 2023

We celebrated a friend’s marriage in New Jersey

Pedro chose his first ever pumpkin
