In late 2018, Evan and Bianca worked at the same company, albeit in different departments. Their annual company Sales Kick-Off will be hosted in Lisbon, Portugal, in January 2019. Evan is preparing to travel to Barcelona with some colleagues after the work event. Bianca’s department was not invited to the Sales Kick-Off that year. Still, when she found out her colleague and now Maid of Honor Amanda Dziszuk would join Evan and Carson on the extended trip, she jumped at the opportunity. When Evan was asked if it was okay for Bianca to join the trip that would end in Paris, where Evan was to meet up with his now Best Man Dara Rahimzadeh he immediately agreed without the two ever meeting. Well, we made it to Lisbon. The following three days for Evan are conference room meetings while Bianca spends her days exploring the M.C. Escher-like stairs in Lisbon. Finally, work is done, and everyone goes out the last night in Lisbon to see the city... Bianca comes too! Late in the evening, Evan, Bianca, and other colleagues locate a food truck where Bianca proceeds to order a hamburger and a family-size bag of chips. For those who do not know, Evan has an addiction to chips. Safe to say the attraction was there. At this point, Evan has already texted Dara and his friends Kyler and Siena about Bianca. We don't know exactly what was texted, but it was something along the lines of… Bianca is awesome, and you will meet her soon. Let's fast forward. After a few days of exploring Barcelona together with Amanda and Carson….. The infamous “hotdog situation” was upon us. In the late hours after leaving a party, Evan wanted a hotdog. As he began to search the streets of Barcelona for one, he was pleasantly surprised to see Bianca running to catch up with him as she was interested in this whole hotdog idea. For those that know Bianca, this is of no surprise. Disappointment set in. Nothing was opened on, as Amanda would describe it, the windiest night in Barcelona history. In a haze of devastation, they began walking back to their Airbnb and spotted a nearby hostel with a vending machine full of… chips! Evan’s chip addiction soon set in. He purchases a bag of chips without hesitation, but the machine has other plans. It eats his money! Bianca begins to speak to the desk attendant asking him to remedy this situation. As she begins to talk to him in Spanish, Evan can't help but think, “Wow, this girl is amazing..she would do anything to get my “fix” of chips.” The next day passes... As we touch down in Paris, light dust begins to paint the roads white. In typical Amanda fashion, she describes the weather as the coldest day in Paris history. Evan, Bianca, and Amanda meet up with Dara and others before going their separate ways for the rest of the trip. 1 Week Later… Back in the states, Evan and Bianca began talking through text messages, and every so often, Evan would propose a time to go on a date. Evan soon began leaving candy on Bianca’s work desk every Tuesday morning to show his interest. He knew what candy she liked as she always seemed to have some in her coat pocket while walking around Europe. It was like she had a Willy Wonka's Chocolate factory in there or robbed a candy store… Anyways, after many months of leaving candy, they went on their first date: on June 15th, 2019. After a few bags of chips, lots of gummy worms, and many fun trips together, Evan and Bianca got engaged in NYC in the company of Dara and his fiancé Misha. Now it's time to celebrate our most incredible adventure yet! Life as Evan and Bianca Weintraub! <3 We are excited to party with you all in Mexico City!!!
