Salida is 7,082ft above sea level. For our friends and family travelling from lower altitudes (especially those flying), we would recommend taking some extra precautions to avoid feeling ill. Lots of water, rest, and acclimating to Denver prior from driving down to Salida can help. We apologize in advance for any inconveniences, and are crossing our fingers that everyone feels well.
For the dress code, we want everyone to look and feel their best! For women, we are hoping to see longer more semi-formal dresses, (midi to maxi length) with block heels or a nice shoe/boot. (we will be in grass, so please beware of wearing any heel with a point or stiletto) For men, we'd love to see dress pants and a collared shirt, option to wear a suit jacket and a tie as well! But please, no jeans! In terms of color, wear whatever you'd like! But, if you are wanting a more clear direction on which colors to lean more towards, our wedding's theme will be full of rich tones, wine reds, dark purples, light pinks, fresh greens, and dark browns that play into the scenic atmosphere of the Ranch in the Rockies.
We request that all guests RSVP by May 1st at the latest, so we can give our vendors a final guest count.

We have reserved a block at the Salida Inn & Monarch Suites, and the Hampton Inn. They’re held under the group rate until May 25th, and then it is released to the public for booking. So if you are wanting to secure a room, please be sure to do so beforehand! It’s best to call to secure the rate! Just tell them you are under the Edwards Wedding. We've arranged convenient transportation for our guests. Parking is available at the venue, and we'll also provide a complimentary shuttle service between the two recommended hotels and our wedding location. EDIT: shuttles will be making rounds to the venue, starting around 3:45PM. The last shuttle will arrive around 4:45PM to make sure everyone is seated in time! We have four reserved that each seat 14. We will send a message when the schedule is finalized. Departure from the venue via shuttle will begin at 9:00PM, every 30 minutes until 11:45PM. *** Groups staying at the same hotels are invited to coordinate with others to best maximize our shuttle usage!
