Hailey and Brian met in the Fall of 2015 in Silverdale, WA, at The Yacht Club Broiler. The Hegewald's were regular customers at YCB and Hailey was a Server. One evening while Brian and his family were having dinner at the Yacht Club, Hailey wrote her name and number on a coaster and handed it to a coworker to pass along as Brian left the restaurant. Shortly after, Brian reached out to Hailey and asked her out on their first date. After meeting for drinks, they hit it off! At the time, Brian was attending College in Vancouver, WA. Hailey and Brian took turns visiting each other on the weekends whenever they could. Between fun dates in Portland, grabbing brunch in Seattle or spending a weekend at Brian's family lake house, it wasn't long before they knew that they never wanted to be apart. Eight years and some odd months later, on July 8th, 2023, at one of their favorite places, Hamma Hamma Oyster Saloon, Brian surprised Hailey with an unexpected proposal. With no hesitation, Hailey said YES, and the planning started! Hailey and Brian have been looking forward to sharing this day with their closest friends and family for years and can't wait to Celebrate with you all on Friday, July 19th, 2024.
