We met back when we both were working for Cracker Barrel, Jake as a cashier and Burkell as a server. I thought Jake was a bit immature at first, he admits to never taking his eyes off me. We started out as friends with an interest but it was just not written in the stars for us to get together at that moment. We then went our separate ways. When I came back to St. George, Jake caught wind and was quickly swooping in. We were still hesitant as Jake was getting ready to go on deployment to Guantanamo Bay. We stayed in touch throughout his deployment and on Sept-21-2014 Jake told me he loves me and asked me to be his girlfriend. He came home January 2015 and moved to Boise, I followed shortly after. Jake proposed on a camping trip in the mountains on July-20-2017.
