We're getting married!

In early March of 2019, Samantha and Kelly found themselves in the gayborhood of Philadelphia. The nightclub, Tabu, was having an event and God designed for them both to attend the same evening. Samantha spotted Kelly first, on stage with her chiseled arms showing from her black beater and black air forces to match. Samantha was captivated by the spotlight showing from Kelly, like hearing angel notes and having the heavens open up, she tapped on the entertainer’s shoulder, not to get their attention but to ask them to go bring Kelly to her. Kelly was summoned and immediately saw from whom. Kelly recounts meeting Samantha, “like a movie, where everyone in the room just disappears and it’s only you and whoever you are locked in with”. Time felt like it stopped. I glanced down at this beautifully melanated woman who had a blue hue radiating from her skin, her eyes shaped like art, and with a smile that exuberated light. I finally got to where she, Samantha, was standing and as I approached she started to ask how tall I was. I made sure to approach on my toes. I don’t think my heels touched the floor. She signaled that she approved of my height. I was still admiring and enthralled with her beauty. Yes, her smile, but also her whole demeanor – who is this girl?! After a quick exchange, Kelly put her number into Samantha’s phone – she tried to be slick and call her phone from Samantha’s so she would have Samantha’s number, but Samantha hung the phone up. Kelly was thinking, damn this girl only wanted a number. Kelly and Samantha noted where each other was and spotted each other throughout the night. Kelly left and went back to Delaware, not expecting anything to come out of the night. The next day, Kelly got a text from none other than Samantha. Samantha asked if Kelly remembered meeting her and Kelly responded, “The beautiful woman from Congo, how could I forget”. The connection between the two has always been. When Kelly and Samantha started to “hang out”, there weren’t awkward moments the pair seemed to be participating in a dance the mind might have forgotten but that the soul remembers.
