What To Wear

Answer

We are requesting a semi-formal attire. The ceremony and reception will be outdoors, so we understand not wanting to dress in anything too suffocating. Flowy/Floral/Maxi dresses, jumpsuits and vest/tie are good. If you'd like to wear a hat, please wear either a Straw hat, Cattleman, Pork Pie, Bowler, Panama, Trilby or Boater. Parasols are welcome as well.

Alcohol

Answer

There will be an open bar with security. Wine, beer and spirits will be served. Alcohol can only be consumed on venue grounds. It cannot be taken to the parking lot. Shot are prohibited.

Ceremony and Reception

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be at the same location! The ceremony starts at 5:00pm and will flow into a cocktail hour with refreshments and appetizers. Afterwards dinner will be served and then the reception! We will start packing up at 10:30pm

The oaks at borne is a 40 acre hill country venue with lots of beautiful oak trees. There is a long gravel drive way leading up to the barn. It is 15 miles north of Borne TX and 45 miles NW of San Antonio. It is kind of in the middle of nowhere, so make sure to be careful driving there and home!

Traveling from out of town?

Answer

If you require accommodations, there are a couple of highly rated hotels in Borne proper. The Kendall on 128 W Blanco Rd, Boerne, TX 78006, is about a 25 minute drive from the venue. Or Hampton Inn & Suites Boerne on 34935 I-10, Boerne, TX 78006, also about a 25 minute drive.
