We met through social media. Instagram to be exact! We had planned a shoot together and this would be the first time we would have ever met. Although the sparks were immediately undeniable, we remained the best of friends for nearly a year prior to dating. Through a friendship with a connection that was inseparable.... we found a love so deep it was impossible to deny. We confessed our love to one another before we had ever even locked in a kiss and that alone made the moment we did so magical.
There was never a doubt that we belonged together, that our lives were made to be built beside one another and that marriage was the goal for the both of us. We had talked about getting married and proposals as most couples do at some point. Never knowing when the moment would come we talked a lot about wanting it to be a total surprise and well.. it was nothing short of that! Bex had, once again, planned a "shoot" in which she mentioned would be for a clothing company. So naturally it forced me to get fully ready. I was at work at the time and she had said she would be at the planned site waiting for me to arrive. Sami and Samuel drove me to the "shoot". The location was this old broken down brick house we had found in the middle of the desert months prior. When we arrived I didn't think much other than; "i need to hurry, ive had these people waiting on me" because i had been running late.. per usual. I jumped out of the car and ran around to the empty space i knew she would be standing in and when i turned the corner... it was then that i knew exactly what was about to happen. The biggest hint: Michael was there. This was a day we didn't normally have him and of course... there was no sight of any clothes to shoot in or anyone from a brand. Just her... Michael and a photographer (our good friend JC). I was speechless. Twinkle lights filled the little abandoned house at sunset and the moment couldn't have been anymore magical. Not to mention a complete surprise.
