Here’s the very one-sided story of why you are busy this October 26th. The year was 2009, hope was eternal, it was the last semester at CSU Chico (well, for one of us). It was the beginning of the Fall semester, the weather was warm and the Bud Ice was cold. Larson and I moved into a quiet and respectable (until we showed up) apartment complex called Rodger’s. We moved into apartment 1 and who lived in #2? Ms. Rebecca Krammen and Jen Holy (maiden name). I can remember the first time I laid my eyes on Bex. She walked around from the back side of the building, and I saw her. My exact words, I"ll keep to myself, but it was something like, “Jen, that’s your roommate?” (Hubba Hubba, eyes protruding). During that semester our friendship flourished. She showed me what a real student looked like and I showed her what a fake student looked like. It was exactly what both of us needed at the time. Bex graduated and I had another year, but the bond was made. At the time, neither of us realized how that semester would change our lives. After Chico we went our separate ways until we reconnected in the city of love. We ran in similar circles, as is common with us Chico folk, so it was only a matter of time before our paths crossed. As is evident by this website, once we found each other we couldn't let go. I share this story to give you a window into our love. Our love is rooted in a spontaneous playful attitude. It started with attraction and grew from happiness. We love to make any floor a dance floor, go see live music, and tell jokes every day. We will continue to love and grow, knowing that we will always have each other and knowing that life is better because of it. We are thrilled to share that with you, our most cherished loved ones.
