If you are traveling from out of state we recommend flying into Sacramento or Reno. The drive to Tahoe from either is beautiful!

Lodging and Camping Options

We hope you get some time to enjoy the area! There's plenty of hiking, biking, climbing, and lake activities. There is a restaurant and a small fishing/general store at Caples Lake Resort. We know all our friends are mountain lovers and hope you can make the most of your trip! There's limited room at Caples Lake Resort for wedding guests, so we have reserved it for family only. There are plenty of Airbnbs at Kirkwood Mountain Resort (5 minutes away), South Lake Tahoe (Meyers area -25 minutes away), hotels in South Lake Tahoe, or camping directly across the street from Caples Lake Resort. It is first-come, first-served camping.
