Can I park next to or in front of the lodge?

Answer

These parking spaces will be prioritized for vendors and event set up crew and are not available for guest parking. - If there is a special or extenuating need, please contact Matt or Beverly prior to the day to discuss.

How much does the ferry cost?

Answer

Passage costs around $30 for a vehicle and driver and around $10 for each additional passenger. Those under the age of 18 are free. - The passage cost is round trip. There is no additional cost for the return ferry. - There are two ferry terminals that service Vashon Island: the Point Defiance terminal in Tacoma, and the Fauntleroy terminal in West Seattle. How late do the ferries run? What if I miss the last boat?

Answer

There are two ferry terminals that service Vashon Island: the Point Defiance terminal in Tacoma, and the Fauntleroy terminal in West Seattle. Both run until around midnight. - Ferry traffic should be light on Sunday evening. Currently there are no holidays or events happening on the island at this time that might cause ferry traffic or delays. We will update this information if this changes. - If by some chance you miss the last ferry, please contact Bev or Matt and we will find you a place to stay for the night. We expect this to not be an issue, but we will have a back-up plan just in case. - Check ferry schedules here: https://wsdot.com/ferries/schedule/

Will food allergies or dietary restrictions be accommodated?

Answer

Yes. We have specifically selected a menu that offers a wide variety of dishes to choose from that separate gluten, dairy, and proteins. - Note: The food on offering is not prepared in an allergen free kitchen. Gluten items may be in contact with surfaces where other food items are prepared.

How close is the Cermanony space and the reception space?

Answer

Please see the map provided above. The event begins at the Burton Lodge Courtyard. The ceremony space is a short walk from the lodge courtyard. The reception will take place in the lodge. - After converging in the Lodge Courtyard for music munchies, and BEVerages - you will be guided to the ceremony space to Entwine with us.
