It was a rainy Sunday morning- they were waiting outside Sbisa, the dining hall at Texas A&M University. Edward struck up the conversation, and asked if Beverly would allow him to sit with her while they had breakfast. She agreed, and they proceeded to learn just how much they had in common- from significant events in their lives, right down to the smallest details. It (almost) seemed too good to be true. The meal finished, and they went their separate ways. Without any plans to meet up, it was a wonder that they found each other again in the vastness of Texas A&M. As luck would have it, they ran into each other several times in the weeks afterwards, and shared many meals together. After a Sbisa dinner together on 04.18.14, they became official.
After she graduated, Beverly moved back home to San Antonio, and Edward transferred to Texas A&M International University in Laredo where he is currently finishing his degree. And now, the moment has come that it is finally time for the long-distance situation to end! It was long awaited and much anticipated- that is to say, not a surprise. Nevertheless, it was a memorable moment on the campus of Texas A&M International University. Edward's sisters were along as photographers to capture the occasion, and enjoy a celebratory dinner afterwards. And just like that, they were free to share the news and begin preparations. We look forward to celebrating our commitment to each other with you!
