It was a late summer night in 2013 when Bev and Ian briefly met through mutual friends when hanging out at Gasworks Park in Seattle. It was nothing more than a handshake and hello. Two years later on July 11, 2015, Bev and Ian reconnected when they ran into each other on a night out at 95 Slide (if you know you know). From there, the adventures began. They bonded over their love for travel, date nights around the city, sharing new experiences together, and raising their beloved 7 year old pomapoo, Chancellor! Over the years, they’ve been there for each other through thick and thin, growing stronger with every challenge and every joy. On December 30, 2023, Bev and Ian were visiting Maui, Hawaii. One of their favorite things to do together on vacation is exploring nature! They were hiking Hoapili Trail in South Maui, and along the hike were beautiful private beaches. At their favorite private beach, Ian asked Bev to set up her tripod for a jumping photo, a fun tradition they enjoy on their travels. As she got ready to jump, Ian surprised her by getting down on one knee. Celebrating almost 10 years, Bev and Ian are excited to take the next step in their journey together. They can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with the people who have supported, shaped, and loved them throughout the years.
