Town of North Beach
Nestled on the Chesapeake Bay’s western shore at the northern tip of Calvert County, the Town of North Beach epitomizes "land of pleasant living." North Beach has much to offer residents and visitors alike. You can enjoy the sun and the Chesapeake Bay while relaxing on the sandy beach. The boardwalk, lined with blossoming flower beds and dotted with park benches, is very popular among athletes and casual strollers. North Beach
For those who are not staying at The Inn at Herrington Harbour. The public beach is open from 8 am until dusk or 8 pm, whichever comes first. If you reside outside of the incorporated limits of the Town of North Beach, you must purchase your beach pass (via the link above). The beach is located on the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay and there is minimal wave action. The bathrooms at the Welcome Center are open year round and beach rentals (umbrellas, beach chairs, and inner tubes) are available as well.
