Yes, there will be self-park and valet options at the University Club. In light of Lollapalooza taking place on the same day, we'd recommend Ubering, using the valet option, or booking a parking spot on the SpotHero app in advance.

Your presence is the greatest gift to us! We kindly ask for no boxed gifts, but if you’d like to contribute, there will be a designated box for cards at the wedding as well as an online contribution option on this website.

What should I expect in terms of music and dancing?

Answer

You can expect music featuring Kurdish, Turkish, and English songs, and everyone is welcome to join in the traditional line dance known as "govend." Most of the dancing will involve a simple "4 steps forward - 4 steps backward" routine. Is the food at the wedding Zabiha Halal?

While the beef/chicken served at the wedding is not Zabiha Halal, we are happy to offer fish and vegetarian options for those who require Zabiha Halal food. If you have any specific concerns or allergies, please let us know in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you!
