This one is for the brothers of the bride who keep asking: Saturday 30th May 2026 at 1:15pm. Please arrive at least 20 minutes before the ceremony is due to begin. You will be able to wait outside or inside depending on the Yorkshire weather!
There is a page on this website where you just pop in your name to RSVP. Please do so by January 30th 2026 so we can plan accordingly.
The ceremony is in the Civic Hall which has a few stone steps outside. The reception is at a functioning brewery/bar called Northern Monk which has 3 floors. The bottom floor is the brewery itself, the first floor is the public bar (people from the public will be using it on the day) and the top floor is all ours. There is a bar and toilets on this floor so you shouldn't need to leave it apart from to go outside for some "fresh air". There is seating outside - pray for some Yorkshire sun! Please note there are no lifts, just stairs.
Possibly the most important question. On the day you can expect the usual thing you'd see at a wedding: canapés, a main meal, pudding and evening food. We do ask that you provide us with dietary requirements ie: allergies, if you're veggie/vegan etc, but you do not need to choose a meal.
You can stay wherever you like, however if you head to the 'Hotel' page, you'll see we've got discounts for 2 hotels in Leeds.
We want you to look and feel your best, so usual wedding attire should do! Please note that the bridesmaids will be wearing champagne colour dresses and the Groom/Best Man/immediate families will be wearing green suits. You may wish to avoid these colours. Also, don't wear white - obvs.
We are asking guests to make their own way. It is a 20 minute walk, alternatively you can get a taxi or whatever method of transport you like. The team at the reception venue will be expecting us from around 2pm. Please note there is no parking outside the venue as we need this for our vendors so you probably don't want to drive there.
Carriages at midnight! If you want to continue your night out, we'd recommend Call Lane.
The only time we ask for no phones/cameras is during the ceremony. We would love for you to take lots of photos and videos throughout the day and share them with us afterwards!
No - the reception venue does not allow bare feet, so please keep your trotters inside some form of shoe at all times.
The kids aren't alright (The Offspring, 1998). Whilst we love all of your children, and dogs, we are asking that this is a grown-up human only event. However, we would love to see them the night before & the morning after at Waterlane Boathouse.
Please only bring along those on the invite / RSVP page.
Please know that we do not expect a gift of any sort, your presence is our present and all that jazz. We are just entirely grateful to have so many wonderful people in our lives to share the day with. If you do want to get us a gift, we are asking for contributions towards our honeymoon to Canada via cash, or bank transfer to: Name: Jonathan Missin Acc No: 01245113 Sort Code: 60-83-71
She will, of course, be making a guest appearance.
