When should I RSVP by?

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Please arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to the ceremony.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
No, due to budget and space restrictions we are keeping the ceremony intimate. Only those listed on the envelope are invited to the wedding.
Question
Should I eat beforehand?
Answer
Please don't! While the reception will not have a formal dining period, we plan to have plenty of food available and tables to relax at while you eat. We also encourage you to mingle and play games while you snack.

What's on the menu
Answer
Food will be inspired by an afternoon tea. Think mini sandwiches, scones, desserts. Most items will be finger foods with a few misc. items requiring silverware. Some items from the menu include: Curried Chicken Salad, Cucumber Sandwiches, Sheppard's Pie, Charcuterie Board, Fruit Tray, Tiramisu, Lemon Cookies, Orange Blossoms, Blueberry Scones

Will there be alcohol?
Answer
Yes! We plan to have cider, beer, and wine on tap.

What if it is cold or rainy?
Answer
While we are crossing our fingers that the weather is in our favor, we are planning ahead for the possibility of rain or low temperatures. Remember the wedding will be outside and on a grassy backyard. We plan to obtain additional tents and heaters should the weather not be in our favor however, please plan to pack additional shoes and outerwear that you can wear in these circumstances.

What can I wear that is within the dress code?
Answer
We want this to be an event where you get to dress fancier than you've ever had the opportunity to before! Refer to the Attire section of our Details card for specific do's and dont's. Otherwise, plan to dress formal. For men this looks like a tuxedo or nice suit/blazer set. Should you be unable to attain those, we request at minimum men wear black slacks or dress khakis with a button down shirt that is tucked in. Ties preferred. Ladies may wear blazer/suit sets as well or a nice dress. We request you do not wear skirts that are shorter than your fingertips. Be mindful of wearing heels as the venue is outdoors and grassy.

Do you have a hotel block reserved?
Answer
No. Due to budget and guest count, we have not reserved anything with a hotel. You are responsible for finding and booking your own lodging.
Question
What if I don't want to donate to the items on your registry?
Answer
That's completely fine! We understand each person has their own budget and financial restrictions. If you would just rather buy something physical instead, feel free to bring your present to the wedding. We are just happy to share this moment with you, regardless of what, or if, you contribute.
