Both of us were working as travel nurses in Hawaii. One night Betty floated to Brittmari's unit. In the breakroom, though Brittmari is not a big fan of small talk, she decided to ask Betty about her backpack because it had the logo of a travel nurse company that she wanted to switch to. Little did she know this would alter her life forever. Betty being the outgoing person she is suggested we hang out sometime. However, she forgot to ask Brittmari for her number, so Brittmari was actually the one having to ask if she wanted her number. After that we hung out almost everyday for the next 2 weeks and the rest is history. And now it feels we have come full circle. Hawaii is such a special place for us. It is where we met, where we decided to place roots, get engaged, and now where we will get married.
