Where is Cassopolis?

Answer

Great question! Cassopolis is a small town in Southwest Michigan, ~35 minutes south of Kalamazoo. We chose this venue as it has an elegant, rustic environment with multiple wild flower gardens scattered throughout the property; perfect for the photos that we will look back on for years to come! We felt this would be a beautiful venue for late August with everything being in full bloom. We hope to see you there!

Can we send a monetary gift to the newly weds?

Answer

Yes! We are fortunate enough to already have a house and a majority of the necessities to begin our lives together as one. We would be happy to accept any monetary gifts via Venmo at @TheBauers. Any gift provided would be put towards house updates, honeymoon expenses, and our infamous school bus conversion project! We appreciate your kindness in advance!

Are guests allowed to BYOB?

Answer

Our venue has a strict policy against bringing outside alcoholic beverages onto the premises. We will be providing an open bar with various beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic options to chose from! As always, please drink responsibly, be respectful of the environment, and remember why we are all gathering! Thank you in advance for your cooperation! However, please plan to do so for our 'Night Before' event, if attending.

I see there is a 'Night Before' event. When and where will this be?

Answer

We are planning to host a 'Night Before' event in the Cassopolis area. Instead of making our wedding celebration a one-day event, we would love the opportunity to spend more time with you all! This will also benefit anyone who has to travel a longer distance to the venue. Our location will allow for bon fire and swimming activities, if desired! Please plan to join us for small bites, drinks, and dancing the night before. We will be reserving a block of hotel rooms in the area to stay overnight at a discounted rate. We highly encourage you to utilize this! Stay tuned as we are still ironing out the details regarding this!

Are children allowed?

Answer

After careful consideration, we have decided to make our wedding reception + ceremony as 21+ of age. Take the weekend off, you deserve it! We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

What are the lodging options?

Answer

We have contacted a few hotels in the area and reserved a block of hotel rooms at each! They include The Holiday Inn (located in both Three Rivers and Niles, MI), The Quality Inn (located in Niles, MI), and the Hampton Inn (located in Niles, MI). Please see the 'Travel' tab on our website for contact information to reserve a room! Also, consider utilizing Airbnb as a means of lodging. There were a few options in the area when we looked :)
