Melody has been ShayLynn’s best friend since 2009. They were in Spirit Wind choir together. Although they have always lived in different cities (sometimes different countries), their friendship has always remained strong.

Allen Braddock

Allen Scott-Dean Braddock moved to Perryton in the 5th grade. It was on a hot September day on the playground when he stumbled across a bratty kid who was picking on another kid with a dodgeball. Most people would be a tattletale or try and stop it themselves, but not Allen. Allen joined the fun and thus the inseparable duo of Allen and Aaron was born. Their favorite pastime usually involved turning on their xbox and gaming it up with each other, a tradition which lives to this day. Although gaming is their favorite hobby, they created a lifetime of mischievous stories, most of which will go to their graves. Despite the fact that the dynamic duo still manage to get into shenanigans, Allen has definitely matured and is studying Virginia law and Aaron couldn’t be more proud of him.

Kara is ShayLynn’s sister. She is ShayLynn’s biggest support system and truest friend.

Jill Bechthold

Jill Aniissa Bechthold was born July 25th, and whether she and Aaron liked it or not, they were destined to be friends. since day 1, they attended the same church but one day in the third grade, Aaron was attempting to cheat off jill on a test, and jill caught the wily cheater. instead of telling her teacher or covering her answers, she let him cheat her answers, which completely backfired when they both failed their tests. they have shared so many memories, and constantly continue to make new memories.

Bethany and ShayLynn have been best friends since 2000 when Bethany invited ShayLynn to her 10th birthday party. They have been inseparable from that day. They have done everything together from making up dances to Martina McBride songs to first kisses to high school and college graduations to kids and so much more.

Casey is ShayLynn’s cousin. They were born only 16 days apart. Because of this, they have always had a special friendship. They are more than cousins. They are sisters and best friends.

Brooke is ShayLynn’s littlest sister. She keeps ShayLynn on her toes. She has quite the sass but also so much personality. ShayLynn always hopes to be a role model for Brooke.

Zoe Carter

Zoe and ShayLynn were roommates for several years. Unlike most roommates, they rarely disagreed or fought. In fact, they have been pretty inseparable since they moved in together.

Ariel and ShayLynn were set dancers together. Although they met through Tech Set Dancers, they didn't become close friends until Ariel volunteered to help her move from Austin back to Lubbock. BLESS HER!

Alyssa and ShayLynn worked together at Brownfield High School. She was across the hall from ShayLynn and was always the smiling face that helped her get through each day. ShayLynn and Alyssa also were cheerleading sponsors together in 2017.
