2021 started out as wild as 2020 had been. Jackson moved out to CA in February, and thus started a long distance relationship. The year was filled with monthly trips, long phone calls and FaceTime dates, and many movie nights thanks to Amazon Watch Party. Sammi and Jackson planned a great outdoor weekend to Yosemite for October. What she didn't know is that he had been custom designing a ring for a few months and had already talked to her family. A few cancelled flights, 5 extra hours of driving, and 10miles of hiking later, they were at a gorgeous lookout in Yosemite. Jackson had hired a secret photographer, said the right catch phrase and she led them to a special lookout point. Thankfully she kept the shenanigans a secret and asked to use them as a model couple for her blog. Sammi turned around from a pose and Jackson was on one knee. The rest, as they say, is history.
