Of course! We consider children just as much a part of our community as adults, so please bring them! That being said, feel free not to bring them and enjoy a few a parenting-free hours.
Dress warmly! The average high on November 21st is 51 degrees, so jeans, flannel, wool sweaters and/or a thick autumn coat are all appropriate. Remember you might get some wood smoke smell on you from the bonfire. Ryan and Betsy might even be wearing long underwear under their wedding finery. "There is no such thing as bad weather, only inadequate clothing."
The Govenor says you are supposed to in public. This is a private event held at a private location. We're specifically doing everything outdoors so guests can more easily social distance. Ryan and I will not be wearing masks for the ceremony or pictures, but some members of our party will be. Please be kind to one another, and understand that everyone has different comfort levels and different immune issues.
We're praying for dry weather, but we'll still carry on if it rains. We will have a canopy and few pop-ups... but we would recommend bringing an umbrella
Haha, no! I know my limits!
Maine currently requires either a 14 day quarantine or a negative test within 72 hours of traveling to Maine for out of state visitors (excepting NH, VT, CT, NY, NJ, and MA). "The State will allow adults who have a negative COVID-19 Antigen or PCR test collected no more than 72 hours before arriving in Maine to forgo the 14-day quarantine upon arrival in Maine. An antibody test is not accepted to forgo quarantine for visitors and those returning to Maine. Maine is strongly urging visitors to “Know Before You Go,” meaning they should get tested and receive their test results in their home state before traveling to Maine, which will allow them to take appropriate action depending on the result. If you do not have the test result by the time you arrive, you must quarantine in your lodging until you receive the result. Individuals may be tested upon arrival in Maine as well, but they must quarantine while awaiting the results."
