The wedding party will be based in Hood River the weekend prior to the wedding, and there will be a welcome reception at Kickstand Coffee on Sunday evening. We recommend basing yourself in Hood River for Sunday and Monday night at a minimum. If you arrive earlier, you could choose to spend Saturday in Portland or Hood River depending on your inclinations.
Bridal Veil Lakes is along the Columbia River Gorge, just about halfway between downtown Portland and Hood River. Assume about 40 minutes from either city to arrive at the venue.
While you can call an Uber or Lyft at the PDX airport and in the surrounding Portland area, it's important to note that these services are NOT available in the Hood River / Columbia Gorge area. We highly recommend renting a car; however, there are alternative taxi options detailed in the travel section, and we will have a shuttle available between the venue and central Hood River on the day of the wedding.
