Walk the LSU Lakes - Park at the "Baton Rouge Beach" and enjoy the 4 or 6 mile path along the LSU Lakes. Take in sights of LSU Greek housing as well as residential homes. Be on the look out for Betsy's sorority house, Tri Delta! Visit Mike The Tiger - While on campus, check out LSU's live mascot, Mike, in his habitat near the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. Visit Mid City Beer Garden - Grab a pint of John's favorite craft beer, Juicifer, at this Government street hot spot! Explore Downtown Baton Rouge - Walk or rent "Gotcha" bikes to travel along the Mississippi River levee.

Superior Grill - Anyone who knows the bride knows this is a MUST stop anytime she is in Baton Rouge, with locations on Government Street or Highland Road. The queso and margaritas here are loved by locals. Although you may just want to stick to one margarita.. trust us! The Chimes.- an LSU campus favorite for all of your poyboy and draft beer needs. Located on Highland Road. Rocca Pizzera - New local favorite for elevated pizzas and cocktails on Government Street. Across the street from Mid City Beer Garden. Dearmans Original Soda Shop - This classic burger, fries, and milkshake diner will take you back in time. This would be John's recommendation to cure the Sunday Scaries. The Little Village - Great Italian restaurant located on 3rd street in the heart of downtown. Walkable from hotel blocks. Fleur De Lis Pizza - Check out our favorite pizza with no frills on Government street. Warning: cash only!
