The Orthodox church views marriage as a holy sacrament, unifying the bride and groom to one another and to Christ. The ceremony will involve rituals such as the Exchange of Rings, the Crowning, and the Common Cup. Our priest will give an overview before our ceremony begins.
The Orthodox marriage ceremony is reverent and respectful. Our reception will be laid-back and fun!
If your invitation (on the envelope) says “and Guest,” then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you.
Evan and Betsy will be living together in Indianapolis. Evan is working his new job as a claims adjuster for D.L. Dravis, and Betsy is working as an art educator, illustrator, and face painter at the Zoo.
Our plan after the wedding is to head somewhere in the States and enjoy our newlywed bliss in a treehouse for a bit! Then we'll be planning ahead for a larger trip (perhaps to Europe) within the first year of our marriage.
Our venues have ample free parking spaces. If you need to leave your car parked at the venue overnight, please return for it by 10:00am the next morning.
