Conrad and Betsy met at Talaynas, a late-night karaoke bar, on a Friday night that just so happened to be Valentine's Day. It was the classic story of Betsy wasn't sure if she was going to go out that night but her friends talked her into it. At the bar, one of Betsy's friends started talking to (hitting on) one of Conrad's friends which brought their two groups together. Once Betsy and Conrad started talking to each other, the rest was history - he asked for her number that night and they never stopped talking after that.
