We first met back in high school. We weren’t close, but we had mutual friends and crossed paths often enough to know who the other was. Fast forward to graduation — the very next day, actually — and we started dating! We were together for about a year and a half before life took us in different directions. We went our separate ways and didn’t talk for seven years (yes, seven!). Eventually, we reconnected and tried again, but the timing still wasn’t quite right. So, we let it go — again. Then one random day, fate stepped in at Southern Peak Brewery. We ran into each other, started talking, and… well, everything just clicked. This time, the timing was right. Two years later, on a sunny day at the beach, we got engaged — proving that sometimes love just needs a little patience (and maybe a craft beer or two).
