Bethlehem and Verdell first crossed paths in high school, and from the moment Verdell met Bethlehem, he knew she was the one. He vividly remembers seeing her walking down the stairs with her friends, noticing everything about her. To this day, he even remembers the outfit she was wearing. With the help of mutual friends, they were able to start their relationship. Over the years, their connection only grew stronger, and together they’ve built a life full of love, memories, milestones and exciting adventures.

For Bethlehem's 30th birthday, Verdell wanted to make the celebration unforgettable—and he certainly did. Over the course of a year, he worked closely with Bethlehem's sister Helina to plan the perfect proposal, keeping everything a secret. Verdell, Bethlehem, Helina, and Jordan took a couples trip for Bethlehem's birthday celebration. One evening, instead of heading to dinner as she thought, Bethlehem’s sister led her down to a beautiful spot on the beach. The boys had set up everything beforehand, creating the perfect scene. When Bethlehem arrived, Verdell dropped to one knee and asked her to spend forever with him. Surrounded by the breathtaking island backdrop, Bethlehem said "Yes!"—and it was a moment they would cherish forever. It was the perfect surprise, and they couldn’t wait to share the excitement with their family and friends.
