Good spot! We are getting married at Southwark Anglican Cathedral (SE1 9DA) NOT St George’s Catholic Cathedral.
Morning dress or formal attire.
YES! The boat is not only everyone’s transport between venues, it’s also part of the celebration. We’ll be serving champagne and canapés on board and enjoying a cruise west into central London before heading to Trinity Buoy Wharf. If you’d rather not travel by boat, Trinity Buoy Wharf is accessible by public transport or by car. BE WARNED: We must embark at Bankside Pier by 1:30pm and won’t be able to wait. Although there will be plenty of time to take the 7 minute walk from the cathedral to the pier, we wouldn’t recommend a cheeky pub stop en route (likely culprits of this know who they are…). There will be plenty to drink on board, promise!
Babes in arms (under 6 months) are welcome. I am afraid we will not be able to accommodate older children.
We will have two professional photographers at the ceremony, so we kindly ask that guests don’t take photos at that time. After the ceremony, you are very welcome to take pictures and help us capture the rest of the day!
