Think classy, understated and seasonally appropriate. The afternoon will be warm and the evening may have a chill. Consider wearing a jacket or shawl for those fall breezes, but make sure you can still dance up a storm with us.
Yes! We have an amazing catering company "Couple of Chefs" who will wow you with their incredible menu. Appetizers before the ceremony are followed by a buffet style dinner inspired by New American cuisine. Vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free items are available as part of the menu but not substitutable for other items.
As it is a fall wedding, we recommend bringing an umbrella or jacket in case of inclement weather. If there is a storm, we will postpone the outdoor ceremony for a few minutes and wait it out. But don't worry, we'll still get married, even if it's an adventure. Don't wear paper clothing.
In order to allow all guests (including parents) an evening of relaxation, we prefer our wedding day to be an adult only occasion. Children who do not require supervision are more than welcome. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to share this day with us and will enjoy having the evening to yourself and friends.
That is completely up to you! We ask guests to arrive by 3:30 pm and our venue closes down at 9:30 pm. We realize that a Sunday evening wedding may stretch some of our bedtimes, so we are trying to wrap up formal festivities by 8:30 pm. Please send us off, grab a last drink or slice of cake and head home! We love you all and will look forward to seeing you when we're back in town. That said, some of you may want to continue the party after we're gone. There are several wonderful downtown venues for this. We recommend Durkin's, Table 13 at the Davenport Grand and Satellite Diner downtown.
