FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal and the more colorful the better! We want you to be comfortable enough to enjoy yourself as we have plans to board game the night away!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 15th.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive by 1:30 pm to allow time for parking and making your way to the venue. This can be a busy area, so please plan accordingly. The ceremony will be starting promptly at 2:00 pm.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Only individuals who have been invited by name on the invitation are welcome to attend. If you need any clarification on this, please reach out to us individually!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to the nature of our venue, children will not be able to attend. The only exceptions for anyone under the age of 18 are those who have been specifically named on the invitation. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Question

I have a food allergy. Can I make a special request?

Answer

Please notify us of any food restrictions as soon as possible! We have some contigency plans for vegetarians/vegans for dinner and dessert. If there are other restrictions, such as any allergies, please let us know.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The couple has secured a small number of validation tickets for the Culver City parking garages. These will be available after the ceremony. Closest parking structures accepting validation are available at: 3846 Cardiff Ave - daily max $12 (without validation), 2 minute walk 3844 Watseka Ave - daily max $12 (without validation), 4 minute walk 9099 Washington Blvd - daily max $12 (without validation), 5 minute walk

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered through Zola and Amazon. Please navigate to the "registry" tab on this website to view our registries.

Question

What should we expect?

Answer

Just like the couple, the ceremony and reception are going to be a bit unique! There will not be alcohol, but there will be minimal dancing and maximum games. Get ready to be competitive, learn something new, and hopefully meet new friends in the process! Also, get ready to pick out your own unique wedding favor. Details to follow.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

While we have lived here, we have not had the opportunity to check out many hotels in the area. However, we are here to give advice about areas of town that may be ideal. Just let us know if you need help!

Question

Where should we bring or send our gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home through the Amazon registry. A wedding card box will be at our reception.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

While we are glad that you are so excited for us, we do ask that all cell phones remain put away during the ceremony. This will allow for our photographer to get the best possible photos which we will share later. Once the reception starts, feel free to take lots of photos! We are working with a company called Confetti to make wedding week photos easy for us to keep track of and fun for guests to take. Look out for a text from them!

Question

Can I post wedding photos on social media?

Answer

We understand that many people will be posting photos before the week is over and we have no problem with this! We only ask that you tag/credit our wonderful venue @therippedbodice and vendors when doing so.
