Welcome Sunset Hike

We'd love to gather with you for a short, easy hike to watch the sunset over the Manitou Islands (where we got engaged!) and get a taste for why we love this area so much. It's 0.6 miles from the parking lot, through a lush beech and maple forest, fields and pine plantation until reaching a beautiful, sandy bluff with a stunning vista of Lake Michigan. It will only take about an hour but we hope to create some meaningful memories to last a lifetime before we say our "I do's"! Even though we will be outside, due to our group size, please bring a mask and be mindful of social distancing! Please note, there is not an exact street address for the trailhead and parking lot, so please look at a map of Sleeping Bear, Google or GPS the coordinates.

Wedding Ceremony & Reception

3:45 pm - 11:00 pm

MASK & Cocktail Attire: cocktail dresses, short or long sleeved button ups with dress pants with optional suit coats. Please no jeans or shorts.

Please arrive by 3:30 to allow time for transportation up to the ceremony location. Please bring a mask- but if you forget, we will also have some on hand. Due to Covid regulations, we will also need every guest to complete a contact tracing sign in sheet. Chairs and tables will be spaced out by six feet. The ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner will all be OUTSIDE. We will have a limited capacity dance floor inside, but also have additional dancing outside under the stars. We love and appreciate you all for making the special effort to join us on the most important day of our lives!
