This hotel is very close to the toll and interstate! So if you'd like to have a few adventures while you're here it would be an easy hour drive to the beach. There's also a movie theater near by and tons of places to eat and site see! This hotel is 8.2 miles away and 14 minutes to my house.

This hotel is a bit more luxurious than the Hilton Garden Inn but they're VERY close to each other so it all depends on your taste and what accommodations you prefer in a hotel. It is 8.4 miles from my house and 15 minutes away!

This is walking distance to a bowling ally, mulitple fast food/restaurants, ice cream, thrift stores and banks. It's also less than a mile to the toll! This hotel is 5.1 miles away and only 9 minutes away.

This hotel is the closest to my house and has McDonald's, Subway, Soul Food cooking and two laundromats very close by. It is only 5.2 miles away and is an 8 minute drive to my house!
Travel Note
Booking a flight, hotel and rental car all through Priceline is very convenient because it's all in one place and they most likely offer discounts after each purchase so the more you book through this site, the more of a discount you'll get on the next purchase. There are shuttles at the Tampa International Airport that take you to and from the car rental company. They offer cars from as low as $29 a day and trucks from as low as $75 depending on how many people are accompanying you!
Travel Note
I suggest looking for flights around August, September and October on Priceline. I've found amazing deals for under $120 a ticket that includes carry-on and advanced seat selections if preferred! I've discovered that flying from Houston to Tampa is a lot cheaper than flying out from Dallas but it's all in what you feel comfortable driving to and paying! I also suggest Priceline because almost 9/10 if you pay for a flight you can get a discount on surrounding hotels. I'm not sure if those discounts would apply to the ones I suggested but you can always call customer support and ask them to transfer the discount to the hotel you'll actually be staying at!
