Our very first date spot! Just steps from Hotel Covington, this trendy taco + tequila restaurant is known for its bold flavors, creative “epic tacos,” and fun, eclectic décor. It’s the perfect place to grab a bite or a cocktail before exploring downtown Covington.
A Cincinnati icon since 1949, Skyline Chili is famous for its distinctive Greek-inspired chili, served over spaghetti or hot dogs and topped with a generous mound of finely shredded cheddar cheese. A favorite among locals (Jeremy & Bethany included!), Skyline offers a one-of-a-kind regional dining experience that has become a staple of Cincinnati culture. Whether you're trying a classic 3-Way or a Cheese Coney, a visit to Skyline is a must for anyone looking to experience one of the city's most beloved culinary traditions.
No trip to Cincinnati is complete without a stop at Graeter’s, the beloved local ice cream shop that’s been making small-batch, French-pot ice cream since 1870. It’s one of our favorite treats in the city — Bethany always gets Boldly Bearcat, her go-to flavor, while Jeremy loves trying whatever new seasonal flavor they’re featuring. Whether you’re craving something rich and chocolatey or something fun and limited-edition, Graeter’s is a must-visit for a sweet taste of Cincinnati.
A special place for us — we’ve had several dates here and even took our engagement photos among the lush greenery. The Conservatory features tropical plants, seasonal floral shows, and a peaceful indoor rainforest. Just outside, Eden Park offers walking paths, lakes, and stunning overlooks of the Ohio River and skyline.
Oktoberfest Zinzinnati is Cincinnati’s signature annual festival and proudly holds the title of the largest Oktoberfest celebration in North America. First launched in 1976, the event has grown into a beloved tradition, celebrating over 50 years of German heritage, food, music, and community spirit.
One of the best views in the entire region. The Devou Park lookout offers sweeping, panoramic views of the Cincinnati skyline — especially beautiful at sunset. The park also has winding walking trails, quiet picnic spots, and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the scenery.
Ohio’s oldest continuously operating public market and one of the most vibrant spots in the city. Browse local vendors, grab coffee or pastries, try international foods, or simply soak in the lively atmosphere. It’s a great place to spend a morning or early afternoon.
A quirky and colorful museum filled with vintage neon signs, restored shop fronts, and nostalgic Americana. It’s incredibly fun to wander through — and a fantastic photo opportunity for anyone who loves something offbeat and unique.
Located inside the beautiful Contemporary Arts Center (one of Cincinnati's amazing free museums), Urbana Café is Bethany’s absolute favorite place to grab coffee in the city. It’s cozy, modern, and known for its rich espresso drinks, delicious mochas, and perfectly smooth iced vanilla lattes. If you’re exploring downtown Cincinnati, this is the perfect stop for a morning pick-me-up or an afternoon treat.
