Walks: Shaftesbury & Gold Hill Circular Walk (AllTrails) – A scenic 60–90 minute walk through historic Shaftesbury and the surrounding countryside.
Durdle Door
(Aprox 1 hour - 1 hour 20 min drive) If you're renting a car, we highly recommend spending a day exploring the stunning Jurassic Coast. Our favourite spot is Durdle Door, one of England's most iconic coastal landmarks. Take in the breathtaking cliff-top views, walk over to Lulworth Cove, or enjoy a swim if the weather is warm. On your way, consider stopping at Old Harry Rocks for another beautiful coastal walk with incredible views over the sea. Lunch Spots nearby: - The Smugglers Inn (Osmington Mills) – Traditional seaside pub with spectacular cliffside views. Perfect for lunch and a pint after your walk. - The Bankes Arms (Studland) – Classic country pub just minutes from Old Harry Rocks, with a lovely beer garden. - The Castle Inn (West Lulworth) – A cosy village pub serving excellent British food, just a short walk from Durdle Door.
Stourhead Gardens
(Aprox 20 minute drive) One of England's most beautiful National Trust gardens, Stourhead is famous for its stunning lake, classical temples, and picturesque walking trails. The circular walk takes around 1–2 hours and is perfect for experiencing the English countryside. There's also a café, restaurant, and shop.
