We met at Towson University in the first month of freshman year. I invited David to a party at my brother's place -- shoutout to Luke and Ryan for making this story possible -- and we've been a part of the same friend group ever since! We never had a single class together, but David and I "got pumps" (David's phrase for working out) together regularly. Then voila, we started dating sophomore year! Flash forward to today, and we've been together for 7 years!

David proposed in November 2020 in Harper's Ferry. He planned a whole, elaborate belated birthday trip. We went hiking, and he was clearly in search of something, changing directions frequently - my suspicion started rising. Then he pulled me down to a beautiful secluded spot near the river, surrounded by mountains on all sides, and he popped the question! I never technically said "yes" because I was too busy crying, but he knew what the answer was.
