Our story started pretty similarly to many others; through friends of friends, in passing at our Penn State campus, and eventually at some college "gatherings" we'll call them. We were both in our freshman year at Penn State and shared a Nutrition prerequisite class together, the dreaded Biology. I'd like to say we met in class, but we all know Bethany had an eye for Craig long before at multiple Nittany Point parties. Bethany approached Craig one time at a friend's apartment and stole his Pittsburgh Steelers Santa hat off his head, sharing that they had a common interest, being HUGE Steelers fans. The night went on as Bethany and Craig got to know each other a little more. This evolved into more hangouts, Biology study sessions, and a few Altoona Curve baseball games throughout the spring semester. Soon it was summer break and Bethany invited Craig to meet her family for the first time on a camping trip. Craig eventually mustered up the courage to make it official when he asked Bethany to be his girlfriend under the stars on a walk around the campground on May 25th, 2014, and the rest is history. Throughout the last, almost 10 years, Bethany and Craig enjoyed the remainder of their time at Penn State together, brought their fur baby Koda into their lives, went on a cross-country road trip for 3 months, lived in Wilmington, NC living out the beach life, moved to Houston, TX and adopted their other fur baby Kya, and are now starting their life together as a married couple back in PA with friends and family.
