We are still planning on getting married on May 8th, 2021. Even though we have a vision of our wedding that we hope can happen, at the end of the day, the health and safety of everyone is our highest priority. If you are not feeling well leading up to the wedding, we completely understand and would like for you to stay home for the safety of everyone. While we hope that we will be able to see everyone's smiling faces without masks, at this time we are recommending face masks to be worn unless eating or drinking. Hand sanitizer will be stationed around the venue as well. Our greatest wish is to celebrate our wedding safely and responsibly. If you have questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
Colin and Bethany met when Colin came to see a performance of The Little Mermaid which Bethany happened to have choreographed. Before the show began, Bethany went up and started talking to Colin and the sparks began to fly. They continued to talk for a few months until they both realized that this could be something special.
While Colin and Bethany were living in Orlando, Florida, they flew up to St. Louis for an awards show. Colin mentioned that they should tour the Fabulous Fox Theatre and Bethany agreed, having no idea of Colin's plans. When they arrived, the attendant asked if we were there for the private tour. Bethany was a bit skeptical and felt that something was out of the ordinary. The attendant took Colin and Bethany on the stage and Colin started talking about how he knew he wanted he was going to ask her to marry him during a date at that same theatre a few years before. He then turned around and said, "this is where I fell in love with you and this is where I want to ask you to be my wife" and got down on one knee.
