Welcome to Our Happily Ever After!

Colby and Bethany met on an online dating site. Colby messaged Bethany first and the two talked night and day for the next few weeks. Colby (FINALLY) asked Bethany out on a date. The two planned to meet at UNO's at Deep Creek Lake because that was an in between spot for them since Colby was in Morgantown and Bethany was in Maryland. They met for lunch on June 21st, 2018. Lunch turned into an afternoon movie which then led to Bethany going back to Morgantown with Colby while he went to Worship Band practice. After that, Colby took Bethany to meet his parents! After that, Colby drove Bethany home where he met her parents! Talk about a crazy first date! To this day, Colby and Bethany look back on that day and wonder what they were thinking! A date that was supposed to last a few hours turned into a twelve hour date! The only explanation the couple has is that it felt so right and they didn't want the day to end! Some called them crazy (including their parents) but they both had the feeling that this was something special and was the start of their forever!

Bethany was under the impression that she and Colby were helping out a friend who needed to practice photographing a couple before she was the photographer for a friend's wedding. Colby set this photo-shoot up for Bethany so he could catch the proposal on camera! Bethany had no idea! Several pictures were taken before walking down to the riverside where Colby stopped and looked at Bethany and said he wanted to talk to her for a second. Bethany instantly got anxious because she could tell where this was going! Colby told Bethany this has been the best year of his life and he couldn't imagine doing life with anyone else by his side. Colby got down on one knee and pulled out a ring that was his grandmother's and said, "Bethany Lauren Biser, will you marry me?". Bethany said yes quickly and threw her arms around Colby's neck and hugged him. Bethany's best friend, Hannah was with them and after Bethany put on her ring, she looked at Hannah and screamed "I'M ENGAGED!!!". Hannah had secretly reached out to the Cast Members at Walt Disney World Resort and had them mail her "Just Engaged" buttons that Hannah gave to Bethany after the proposal, Bethany was then informed that the wedding this photo-shoot was practice for was earlier that day! It was the perfect proposal and the couple was so excited to tell everyone their awesome news!
